Andrew“Andy” Lock has over 30+ years’ experience working with and providing financingto a diverse set of industries and businesses as an executive in the commercialbanking industry, consultant, and board member.

Mr. Lock isthe former Chief Risk Officer of Towne Bank, a $11 Billion multistate publiclytraded banking company.  In that capacityhe was a member of executive management with direct oversight of the enterpriserisk management, internal audit, credit review, model risk management, mortgagequality review, appraisal management and vendor risk management programs, amongothers.  

Prior tojoining Towne Andy was the Chief Risk Officer, Chief Credit Officer, andexecutive team member at Monarch Bank, a $1.2B publicly traded bank.  In addition to some of the responsibilitiesheld at Towne, he oversaw all loan functions including credit underwriting andapproval, credit review, loan operations, compliance and BSA AML.

Since exitingthe banking industry Andy has been involved in and consulted with a number ofprivately held businesses, primarily in strategy, M&A and capital raisingroles.  In 2021 he negotiated the sale ofLos Suenos Farms, the country’s largest outdoor grow, to Curaleaf for roughly $70million.

Andy holds aB.S. in Business Administration from Trinity University and an MBA in Financefrom Virginia Tech.  He has been a boardmember of the Virginia Small Business Financing Authority, 757 Angel Investors,and the Virginia Beach Cannabis Advisory Task Force, among others.
