In June 2014, Viridian Capital Advisors, LLC (“VCA”) was founded as one of the earliest financial and strategic advisory firms in the cannabis sector, with a team of seasoned investment bankers and analysts who brought capital raise, M&A and advisory transaction experience to the cannabis industry. We surrounded ourselves with an Advisory Board comprised of former President’s, CEO’s and C-Suite executives from some of the largest companies in the CPG, Big Brand and Private Equity industries, including Diageo, Proctor & Gamble, Anheuser Busch, Mars Wrigley, Dixie Brands, Pantheon Partners and Conde Nast.
To date, the Viridian team has closed 15 financing transactions totaling approximately $170 million, and 10 M&A transactions with total consideration of approximately $400 million. We’ve performed several dozen valuation, financial modeling and board development assignments for our cannabis client companies.
